Carte du Kurdistan
This is a map based on what was presented by the Kurdish delegation to the first session of the United Nations at San Francisco in 1945. It is the most common map of Kurdistan used by various Kurdish organizations in the course of 1950s through 1980s.
The map grossly exaggerates the extent of the Kurdish home territories in the south, extending it to the shores of the Persian Gulf. In the northwest, however, it completely disregards the large central Anatolian exclaves as it ignores the Khurasani and the Elburz exclaves in northern and northeastern Iran.
